GePG & TRA Troubleshooting Runbook

Step-by-step guide for handling recon and statement failures

GePG Troubleshooting Guide

Process Schedule

Recon process runs daily at 04:30 AM IST.

Checks

  • Check logs for GePG and az-db-services around 4:30 AM in tz-msb-prod.
  • Look for errors in log collection output.

Reasons for Failure

  1. GePG recon succeeded but mail server was down.
  2. Error in account number from PGDB during recon.

Manual Recon Query

If logs show nothing, run curl for recon data. Use yesterday’s date.

curl -s http://10.137.129.86:30274/api/gepg-manual/query-recon-data/DD-MM-YY
Example
# If today is 26th Aug
curl -s http://10.137.129.86:30274/api/gepg-manual/query-recon-data/25-AUG-2025

Check the payload response. If failed, inspect az-db-service and GePG logs.

TRA Troubleshooting Guide

Process Schedule

TRA process runs daily at 05:30 AM IST.

Checks

  • Check logs for GePG and flexdb in log collection.

Reasons for Failure

  1. flexdb might be down during TRA process.
  2. Mail server might be down.

Manual TRA Statement Request

If the UI breaks long payloads, use a here-document so the XML stays intact. Copy exactly as-is:

--header 'Content-Type: text/xml' \
--data '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
